Custom CNC Machined Aluminum Automation Fixture Base Plate A fixture base plate carries the whole measurement chain of an automation station: every dowel pin, clamp and sensor sits on it, so any deviation in flatness or hole position is multiplied downstream. We machine these plates from 6061-T6 aluminum on 5-axis CNC machining centers, hold flatness to 0.01mm over the working area and ream dowel holes to H7 with position accuracy of 0.01mm, then release each plate with a CMM
