Precision CNC-Machined Aluminum Linear Guide Slider Block A slider block positions a moving axis, so its rail seat and reference faces decide whether the carriage runs true or fights the rail for the whole stroke. We machine these blocks from 6061-T6 aluminum, establish the rail mounting face as the master datum, line bore both rail grooves in one setup, and hold parallelism to 0.01mm before anodizing. Blocks can be supplied as matched pairs so the two halves of a gantry stay
