This aluminum multi-step locating flange housing with a threaded connector is machined by Dongguan Changxinda Precision Technology Co., Ltd., a CNC factory established in 2008. The multi-step bore, the locating flange register and the connector threads are produced in one turn-mill setup, so the register fit stays square to the bore axis and the threads stay concentric with the seat. Critical features are held to ±0.01 mm and verified on a CMM.
A locating flange housing does two jobs at once: it registers a mating part to a precise position with its flange step, and it threads on to a connector to lock the assembly. If the register seat and the threads were cut in separate setups, an eccentricity would tilt the mating part and cause thread cross-talk or sealing leaks. Single-setup turn-mill machining keeps the register, bore and threads on one axis.
NDA available on request · Exporting since 2008 · Mill certificates supplied with every lot.
Each locating flange housing follows a controlled eight-stage route:
- Drawing review & DFM: STEP / IGES / SolidWorks / 2D PDF checked for register fit, thread spec, step diameters and tolerances.
- Material: 6061-T6 / 7075 aluminum with mill certificates.
- Turn-mill programming: CAM toolpaths combining turning (flange, steps, bore) and milling/threading in one setup.
- Turning the flange & steps: register seat and multi-step diameters machined to fit and squareness.
- Boring the seat: locating bore finished for concentricity to the register.
- Threading the connector: threads cut cleanly and aligned to the bore axis.
- Surface treatment: anodizing, polishing or per drawing.
- CMM inspection: register fit, bore, thread position and squareness verified with a first-article report.
The multi-step threaded housing is a starting point. We machine custom flange housings with your own register diameter, step sequence, thread size, snap-fit end and bore — all to drawing.
We sign an NDA before engineering review, restrict drawings to the assigned programming and machining team, and never display or reuse customer geometry. Fixtures and programs built for your part stay dedicated to your program, and surplus or reject parts are scrapped on request.
Changxinda runs a plant established in 2008 with 90+ staff, multiple turn-mill lathes and 4-axis / 5-axis machining centers backed by a dedicated QC lab.

The register is the step that seats the mating part at a precise position. Holding it to ±0.01 mm and square to the bore keeps the assembled part aligned, so there is no tilt, wobble or thread cross-talk.
The register, bore and threads are cut in one turn-mill setup from one datum, then CMM-verified for position and squareness.
Yes — register diameter, step sequence, thread size (metric or imperial), snap-fit end and bore can all be machined to your drawing or 3D model.
6061-T6 / 7075 aluminum as standard, with anodizing, polishing or custom coatings. Other metals are available on request.
Yes, before engineering review. Drawings are limited to the assigned programming and machining team and never reused or displayed.
Prototypes 3–7 days, small batches 7–14 days, mass production 14–30 days depending on complexity, with rush support available.
