Robot Joint Connector Arm Kit 6061-T6 Aluminum Interchangeable Assembly 0.01mm Fit

A Kit That Behaves Like a Kit
Most connector "sets" are a box of parts that happen to ship together. This one is built as an interface: the arm, the adapter ring, the dowel pins and the fasteners share one datum plan and one tolerance chain, and every part carries a laser part number tied to the kit serial. Order the same part number a year later and it still fits the arm you bought, because the programme and the datum plan do not change between batches.
That matters most in service. If an arm is damaged on a robot that is already running, you do not re-engineer a replacement — you quote the part number and serial, and the new arm arrives at the same interface geometry. Spares are orderable individually for exactly this reason.
Tolerance Chain, Then Machining
We start by doing the stack-up arithmetic, because a kit fails on the interface, not on the individual part.
Precision Capability
| Characteristic | Held To | Verification |
|---|---|---|
| Arm to adapter interface fit | 0.01 mm | CMM, assembled state |
| Dowel hole position | 0.012 mm | CMM, best-fit pair |
| Mating flange flatness | 0.005 mm | Granite plate, both faces |
| Flange parallelism | 0.01 mm | CMM, opposite faces |
| Bore concentricity to flange | 0.01 mm | CMM, datum bore |
| Bolt hole position | 0.02 mm | CMM, pattern check |
| Interchangeability within batch | 100% dry fit checked | Trial assembly, every kit |
| Mating face finish | Ra 0.8 µm | Roughness tester, per batch |
Custom Kits
Content is defined by your assembly. Kits are quoted line by line, so items can be added or removed without re-quoting the whole set.
- Components: connector arm, adapter ring, dowel pins, bushings, cap screws, shims, seal rings
- Configurations: dual flange, single flange with lugs, angled flange, offset flange, multi-axis joint body
- Materials: 6061-T6, 6082-T6, 7075-T6, 2024-T351, 304/316L stainless, 4140 steel on request
- Features: central cable opening, sensor lugs, cable channels, keyways, dowel pairs, threaded inserts
- Kit sizes from 2 to 30 components, with BOM, spare list and assembly sequence notes
- Serial tracking so a replacement part can be ordered by kit number years later
- Input formats: STEP, IGES, X_T, STL, DXF, 2D drawing with GD&T, or a sample for scanning and rebuild
Confidentiality
- Mutual NDA signed before drawings, models, scans or samples are exchanged
- Files held on a restricted local server, access limited to the assigned engineer and programmer
- Quotations, BOMs, CMM sheets and shipping labels carry an internal project code, not your product name
- No photograph, sample or reference of your kit is released without written approval
- Programmes, fixtures and interface records built for your job remain your property
- Files and backups deleted at project close on request
The Plant
Dongguan Changxinda Precision Technology Co., Ltd has machined custom parts since 2008. The floor runs 4-axis and 5-axis machining centres, turn-mill combination lathes, CNC lathes and milling machines, backed by an ISO 9001:2015 quality system and an in-house CMM room. More than 200 customers in medical equipment, robotics, automotive, aerospace, automation, laser, LED, lithium battery and precision instruments are supplied from this plant, and 50-60% of output is exported. Kitting, serial tracking and dry assembly checks are part of normal production here.

FAQ
Q: Can I order a single replacement arm later?
A: Yes. Quote the kit serial and part number; the arm is cut from the same programme and checked against the recorded interface dimensions.
Q: What does interchangeable within 0.01 mm mean in practice?
A: Any arm from the same kit series seats on the adapter with the same fit and the same dowel engagement, so a spare does not need fitting on site.
Q: Will you sign an NDA before we send the assembly?
A: A mutual NDA is signed first, covering drawings, models, scans, samples and BOM details.
Q: Do you supply the dowels and fasteners?
A: We can supply the full kit including dowels, screws and shims, or machine the metal parts to your own hardware list. Both are quoted line by line.
Q: What is the minimum order?
A: One kit, with no tooling charge and no programming fee.
Q: Can you match an existing kit already in service?
A: Send the drawing or a sample. We rebuild the model, measure the interface and quote against measured geometry, so a new kit drops into the same assembly.
Q: What do you need to quote?
A: Assembly drawing or STEP, component list, interface tolerances, quantity and target date. Quote and stack-up notes return within 24 hours.
