The Bearing Seats Are the Product
On a dual bearing arm, the arm itself is rarely the problem. The seats are. Each end carries a bearing boss, and if the two seats are not coaxial, the bearing races fight each other, preload climbs, and the joint runs warm and noisy long before the arm is worn out. This connecting arm is therefore built around the seats: both bosses are bored in one clamping, the seal grooves and grease passages are cut in the same operation, and the bearings are trial pressed before the arm is packed.
Between the bosses sits a machined bridge with relief pockets, sized for stiffness rather than appearance. Flange faces, threaded hole circles and dowel features are all referenced to the same datum, so the arm bolts to the reducer on one end and the link on the other without shimming.
How It Is Produced
Ten steps, and the order is what protects the seats. Roughing and finishing are never done in one pass on a part with two bearing bosses.

Confidentiality
- Mutual NDA signed before drawings, models, scans or samples are exchanged
- Files held on a restricted local server, access limited to the assigned engineer and programmer
- Quotations, CMM sheets and shipping labels carry an internal project code, not your product name

- Files and backups deleted at project close on request
The Factory
Dongguan Changxinda Precision Technology Co., Ltd has made custom machined parts since 2008. Equipment includes 4-axis and 5-axis machining centres, turn-mill combination lathes, CNC lathes and milling machines, backed by an ISO 9001:2015 quality system and an in-house CMM room. Over 200 customers in medical equipment, robotics, automotive, aerospace, automation, laser, LED, lithium battery and precision instruments are supplied from this plant, and 50-60% of output is exported. Bearing-seat boring, seal grooves and press-fit trials are standard practice here, not an added service.

FAQ
Q: Do you supply the bearings as well?
A: We can, or we can work with the bearings you already specify. Either way the seats are measured and graded against the bearing fit you require.
Q: What does press-fit trial actually mean?
A: A sample bearing is pressed into and out of the seat with force recorded, then the seat is graded A or B by measured size. You receive the record with the batch.
Q: Will you sign an NDA before we share the arm drawing?
A: A mutual NDA is signed first, covering drawings, models, scans and samples, including bearing and preload details.
Q: Can you machine seal grooves and grease passages in the same operation?
A: Yes. Seal grooves and retaining shoulders are cut with the seats, and grease passages are drilled afterwards, deburred from the inside and checked with a borescope.
Q: What is the minimum order?
A: One piece, with no tooling charge and no programming fee, so a single arm for a prototype build is a normal order.
Q: How do you keep repeat batches consistent?
A: Frozen programme, same grading band, same inspection plan, and capacity reserved per part number. A repeat arm will press the same way as the first batch.
Q: What do you need to quote?
A: 2D drawing with tolerances, 3D model, quantity, material, bearing specification and target date. Quote and DFM comments return within 24 hours.
