Sleeve Description This sleeve body screws into the connector housing and carries the ferrule on its bore. Because it is threaded on the outside and bored on the inside, the two axes have to be the same axis: if the thread runs 0.03 mm off the bore, the sleeve tightens at an angle and the fiber tip tilts by the same amount
